Unlike a body butter, our tallow body cream is formulated with water for a lighter, moisturizing sensation. It's perfect for level of moisture for daily use & I find myself looking for excuses to spread a little on my skin.

🌿At The Velvet Tallow I personally & meticulously render, purify, and craft our products using suet sourced from local farmer who raises 100% grass fed cattle. I was personally inspired to use & make tallow-based skincare by my own journey to health through animal-based eating. I believe that using tallow is in keeping with the “Nose to Tail” philosophy of using the entire animal and honors these beautiful creatures who help nourish our bodies.
