You’ll have to find the amount that your skin likes & if you find that you’ve applied too much, simply wipe the excess with a clean cloth.
But, how does it smell? Tallow is an animal fat, yet we find that our tallow has a natural, earthy, buttery scent that is very neutral once applied to the skin. I meticulously purify the tallow in a multi step process & do not find that our tallow has any perceptible “beefy” scent.
